Do not despise small beginnings...
Taking a leap of faith, Pastor Diana and Richard Garcia planted Amazing Love Tabernacle (ALT) in December 2012 ( a Full Gospel Assemblies International (PA) Affiliation) located in the Six-Corner area of Springfield, Ma.'s inner city. ALT’s emphasis: Prayer, Discipleship, Growth, Community Outreaches and Services. In April 2014, Pastor Diana became increasingly restlessness. She dreamt of helping others meet their tangible and spiritual dreams and needs in a substantial way.
During a dedicated time of prayer and fasting, God confirmed the dream of deeper purpose.
A short while after, Pastor Diana contacted the LA Dream Center in Los Angeles, Ca.. Later on, she connected with Pastor Katelynn Miner of the Berkshire Dream Center in Pittsfield, Ma. With a mutual love for Christ and a passion to serve others, Pastor Katelynn and Leader Cathy Chapman trained and assisted ALT with establishing the Adopt-A-Block outreach program in the Six Corner's neighborhood of Springfield, Ma.
The Adventure Begins
In June 2016, Pastor Diana and Richard went on a Short Term Mission (STM) trip to the Los Angeles Dream Center in California with the approval of the ALT Board of Directors. Their experience was incredible and it marked them with a dream and a deeper sense of purpose to serve the City of Springfield and the Pioneer Valley. It was then, with the approval of the ALT Board of Directors that the First Pioneer Valley Dream Center, became an Official Member of the Dream Center Network, and the Adventure Began!
DC History began at the la Dream center: “the church that never sleeps”
The LA Dream Center was founded by Pastor Matthew and his father Tommy Barnett in 1994. The Dream Center is a volunteer driven organization that serves through about 273 different types of outreaches. Currently the LA Dream Center houses over 700 people and serves over 400,000 people each month.The Dream Center is also known as the “Church That Never Sleeps” and founded in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, California.
On June 17, 2016, First Pioneer Valley Dream Center became an Official member of the Dream Center Network. We’re honored to be a member of the DC Network, which consist of over 60 plus Dream Centers throughout the United States and 10 Dream Centers internationally (Canada, Australia, Brazil, Haiti, New Zealand, and others). Together we share a common cause of helping to restore hope and dreams in our communities through the love of Jesus.
